Full-Stack Developer – Technical Interview Representative

Contract (Hourly)
  • Engineering
  • Remote (US Timezone)

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to serve as a Technical Interview Representative for our development team. In this role, you will represent our developers during live technical interviews with U.S.-based clients and hiring partners, helping them secure job offers by speaking confidently, answering technical questions, and managing the interview and onboarding process on their behalf.

This position is ideal for a highly articulate engineer who enjoys interviewing, communicating with clients, and showcasing strong technical depth. You will act as the voice of our developers—presenting their skills, experience, and background while handling all technical conversations throughout the hiring funnel.

About the Role

As a Technical Interview Representative, you will step in as the candidate during interviews and engineering discussions. You must be able to speak clearly, explain complex technical concepts in simple terms, and improvise confidently when needed. By representing our developers professionally and handling interviews end-to-end, you help them overcome language barriers and create opportunities for successful placements. This is a remote, part-time freelance role that offers consistent monthly work and strong performance-based bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical interviewer on behalf of our developers, using their names and profiles during live interviews with U.S. clients and hiring partners.
  • Conduct technical screenings, coding discussions, and system design interviews, showcasing the developer’s expertise convincingly.
  • Lead onboarding steps after an offer is secured, such as introductory meetings, technical alignment calls, and team introductions.
  • Participate as the “candidate” in general meetings, daily/weekly standups, and client check-ins until onboarding is complete.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients, recruiters, and engineering teams through email, Slack, and video calls.
  • Prepare thoroughly before each interview, reviewing developer profiles, portfolios, and job requirements.
  • Track interview schedules, coordinate availability, and ensure smooth communication between all parties.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to help improve our interview success rate and internal processes.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to speak confidently and naturally in professional environments.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Full-Stack Developer (Node.js, React, Python, Ruby, Java, or similar modern stacks).
  • Strong understanding of system design, REST APIs, microservices, databases, cloud architecture, and best engineering practices.
  • Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals.
  • Prior experience conducting technical interviews for U.S. companies (as an interviewer) is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to think quickly and improvise when explaining or answering technical questions on the fly.
  • Comfortable with Zoom, Google Meet, Slack, and other remote tools.
  • Must be available to work during U.S. time zones (EST/PST).
  • Professional, reliable, and able to represent developers with confidence.

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly rate for each interview session and meeting you attend.
  • Performance-based earnings: Upon each successful placement, receive 10% of the developer’s monthly salary after tax (typically $600–$1,000+ monthly per placement).
  • Continues as long as the developer remains employed—resulting in stable ongoing income.
  • Work fully remotely with a flexible schedule.
  • Opportunity to participate in 20–30 interviews per month (depending on availability).
  • Long-term collaboration with a fast-growing software agency.
